Working closely with venue leadership and the broader HQ team, this individual will assess the current business, identify growth opportunities, and create both a strategic roadmap and tactical execution plan that drives sustainable revenue growth while preserving the unique spirit and cultural relevance of the venue.
Key areas of focus – include but are not limited to:
Commercial Strategy & Growth
- Conduct a full commercial review of the venue's current business performance
- Identify revenue opportunities across entertainment, corporate events, dining and guest experience
- Develop a strategic growth roadmap with clear priorities, timelines and success metrics
- Build business cases and revenue forecasts for proposed initiatives
Entertainment & Programming
- Evaluate current programming and event performance
- Develop strategies to increase attendance, spend per guest and frequency of visits
- Identify new entertainment formats, partnerships and audience segments
- Optimise the annual events calendar to maximise revenue opportunities
Corporate Events & Partnerships
- Develop a growth strategy for corporate events and private bookings
- Identify new B2B opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Strengthen positioning of venue as a premium events destination
- Improve conversion and retention of corporate clients
Dining & Guest Experience
- Work with venue leadership to identify opportunities that increase guest spend and repeat visitation
- Develop initiatives that strengthen guest loyalty and lifetime value
- Ensure commercial opportunities enhance rather than dilute the guest experience
- Evaluate pricing, packages and guest journey touchpoints
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a strategic advisor to venue leadership
- Align cross-functional teams around growth priorities
- Facilitate workshops and planning sessions to drive execution
- Establish reporting frameworks and commercial performance dashboards
